Vision and Mission
Vision
St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, Germany e.V. envisions a united spiritual home for all Malankara Orthodox faithful who have migrated to Germany, firmly rooted in the apostolic tradition of St. Thomas and the heritage of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. We strive to be a vibrant, Christ-centered community that nurtures faith across generations, integrates joyfully into the cultural life of Germany, and builds bridges of fellowship and cooperation with other Christian traditions.
Mission
- To provide regular Holy Qurbana, sacraments, and pastoral care across all regions of Germany, ensuring that every member of our migrated community can actively participate in the life of the Church.
- To strengthen the faith of our members through all spiritual organisations, Sunday School in German, English, and Malayalam, and faith-formation programmes tailored to every age group.
- To foster unity among the faithful by overcoming geographic distances with both in-person services and online gatherings.
- To maintain and grow ecumenical relationships with other Christian communities in Germany, engaging in dialogue, shared worship, and acts of service.
- To witness Christ’s love through charitable works, community engagement, and integration into the social and cultural life of our adopted homeland.
